Cube Real Estate promotes talented young professionals with its “Young Talents Program” – first cohort has successfully completed the program
The project developer Cube Real Estate knows that its own employees are a company’s most valuable resource. In order to promote young, determined employees within the company, Cube has developed its own “Young Talents Program” training course. The Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, with which the module content is coordinated, certifies the program as “Sustainable Leadership Development”. The first year of the program, which started at the beginning of 2022, has now been successfully completed and received its certificates. A new cohort of Young Talents from Cube Real Estate has already started at the beginning of 2023.
The eight modules, which are completed within a year by around ten employees in a fixed group of participants, cover various topics ranging from leadership skills and negotiation training to personal development. The participants are supervised throughout the year by an external coach from a management consultancy. In the run-up to the two-day sessions, which mainly take place in NRW, the participants receive accompanying learning material. In addition to the theoretical and didactic input from the external coach, alternating guest speakers talk about their experiences and give keynote speeches. At the end of the program, the participants have to prove their acquired knowledge in a one-and-a-half-day development center and solve practical cases.
“The Young Talents program teaches a range of skills that enable them to work agilely and effectively in teams and manage staff in everyday working life and in challenging situations. We are proud to have young talents in our company who are motivated to invest a year’s time in this intensive further training in addition to ‘learning on the job’,” says Tilman Gartmeier, founder and CEO of Cube Real Estate.
“The ‘Young Talents’ training program meets all the requirements of modern teaching and is suitable in terms of content to provide participants with the necessary leadership skills, among other things. All seminars consist of a methodical mix of instructive, dialogical and participant-activating components. Long-term training series with application and self-learning periods between the face-to-face sessions ensure that knowledge is learned in a much more sustainable way than in a long block course, for example,” says Prof. Dr. Erwin Hoffmann, lecturer in human resources development at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences and expert advisor for the program.
