Leverkusen, 16.03.2022 – Leverkusen-based project developer Cube Real Estate is setting up a new department with the aim of constantly improving the quality of its own projects in planning and construction. Gerd Wechsler, who holds a degree in civil engineering (TH), took over the management of the new Technical Quality Management & Controlling (TQMC ) department at the beginning of January 2022.

As Head of TQMC, Gerd Wechsler reports directly to the founder and Chairman of the Management Board Tilman Gartmeier. Alongside Jean-Marc Fey (Head of Purchasing and Sales and Project Management), Behnam Afshar (Head of Construction Management) and Thorsten Näbig (Head of Controlling), Gerd Wechsler joins the staff of division heads as a responsible function below the management board.

Before joining Cube Real Estate GmbH, Gerd Wechsler gained extensive experience at Stadtwerke München Services from 2008 to 2014 and at STRABAG Real Estate from 2014 to 2021. Among other things, he worked in operational project management and quality management. In addition, he most recently acted as a technical consultant for projects in the fields of project and product development.

Tilman Gartmeier says: “With our strong growth in the last two years, we want to focus in particular on quality in planning and construction and not only maintain this, but continuously improve it.
