Cube Real Estate has received planning permission for the Zoll 5 project in Cologne’s Zollstock district. The construction project on Zollstockgürtel comprises 99 compact apartments and 15 two- to three-bedroom apartments on a plot of 3,000 m².

The planned new building impresses with its green and beige façade, which is reminiscent of Cologne architecture from the 1950s and 1960s and cites the historical use of the site. A central component of the project is the sustainable design of the residential environment. A green inner courtyard with seating areas creates an inviting atmosphere, while private terraces for the ground-floor apartments offer a green retreat. The residential building also integrates an underground garage with 19 parking spaces and a central, covered bicycle garage in the former gatehouse.

Thanks to the good public transport connections and the proximity to the Vorgebirgspark and Zollstockbad, the project offers urban comfort in the immediate vicinity. The architectural design was created by JSWD Architekten and is characterized by a ceramic clinker brick façade. Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-2025.
