Start of construction in the east of Aachen: project developer Cube Real Estate is building around 3,200 m² of residential space and 100 m² of commercial space on a plot of around 1,100 m². A total of 64 residential units and a commercial unit on the first floor are being developed in the Frankenberger Viertel in Aachen.

Attractive green spaces and a children’s playground are planned for the outdoor areas to increase the quality of life for tenants. Planning permission was granted in November 2023 and the earthworks and shoring work has now begun.

In addition to the quality of life in the district, the project also scores highly in terms of sustainability thanks to photovoltaic systems, heat pumps and extensive green roofs to achieve innovative energy efficiency. It also offers modern infrastructure with a car elevator, 30 car parking spaces and 156 bicycle parking spaces.

Zimmermann Architekten is responsible for the architectural concept. The project is scheduled for completion in 2025 and is worth around 25 million euros.
