Leverkusen, 19.10.2020 – Leverkusen-based real estate developer Cube Real Estate is strengthening its team with Wolfgang Paul with immediate effect. The technical business economist and electrical engineer is taking on the newly created position of “Head of Technology”. In this role, he will report directly to founder and Managing Director Tilman Gartmeier. The Cube Group is thus adding a key operational position to its team, which now numbers 55 employees.

Wolfgang Paul is a proven expert in construction in existing buildings and technical real estate operations. Most recently, he was responsible for facility management at dm Vermögensverwaltung. Prior to that, Paul spent many years in management positions at technical facility management companies, including RT Facility Management and WISAG.

“Wolfgang Paul is a highly experienced technology specialist who will support us in the development of our complex real estate projects. We are proud when experienced experts like him decide to join our expanding company,” says a delighted Tilman Gartmeier. This additional technical expertise in the Cube Real Estate team is a real asset, especially with the increasing number of extensive district developments such as Cube Factory 577 in Leverkusen, Cube Flag Factory 2141 in Bonn and Cube Central 378 in Düsseldorf.

In terms of personnel, Cube Real Estate intends to further strengthen its technical planning services and project management in particular. This is also taking place against the backdrop that the Leverkusen-based real estate developer is implementing more and more projects by awarding individual contracts. “We have had very good experience with this strategy in some projects,” says Tilman Gartmeier, explaining the worthwhile alternative to awarding contracts to a general contractor for the construction of the properties. “Although this approach is challenging for us, it makes the processes on our construction sites much more flexible and qualitative, while at the same time reducing construction costs,” says Gartmeier. Wolfgang Paul is a real gain in expertise, especially with regard to this strategic orientation.
