Cube Real Estate sells Cube Offices 574 in Leverkusen to
Coresis Management GmbH
Leverkusen, 01.06.2021 – Cube Real Estate has sold the Werkstättenstraße 39 a-d office building in Leverkusen-Opladen to Coresis Management GmbH from Bad Homburg, which specializes in real estate investments for institutional and very wealthy private investors. The modern office property has a usable area of 5,000 square meters. The property, which was previously owned by the company, was completely revitalized with industrial charm by Leverkusen-based project developer Cube Real Estate and is part of the Neue Bahnstadt Opladen urban development project. The parties have agreed not to disclose the sale price.
Until 2003, the property was part of the “Bundesbahn-Ausbesserungswerk Opladen”. Today, this 72-hectare area forms the Neue Bahnstadt Opladen. Cube Real Estate is currently developing the mixed-use urban quarter Cube Factory 577 here. The neighboring office building, which has now been sold to Coresis, is fully let. One of the main users is Cube Real Estate, which continues to use the location as its company headquarters. “We are continuing to focus on this central location in NRW, right on the doorstep of our flagship project Cube Factory 577,” explains Cube Real Estate founder and Managing Director Tilman Gartmeier.
The consulting firm Rödl & Partner and the law firm May und Partner were involved in the transaction on the buyer’s side, as were Loschelder Rechtsanwälte and the tax consultancy and law firm Ecovis KSO on the seller’s side. The transaction was accompanied by RheinWert Immobilienconsulting from Düsseldorf.
