Cube Real Estate lets 1,460 m² in Leverkusen’s Cube Factory 577 to non-profit Rheinisches Bildungszentrum on a long-term lease
Leverkusen, 17.05.2022 – Cube Real Estate has recorded another letting success at the Cube Factory 577 development in Leverkusen. The Leverkusen-based non-profit Rheinische Bildungszentrum, which acts as an association of support and educational institutions in the school, university and vocational sectors in Germany, has been secured as a long-term tenant. It is moving into around 1,460 m² of office space in the first new office building at Cube Factory 577. It will move in once the construction work has been completed in the fourth quarter of 2023.
This means that almost all of the space in the building has already been let in the shell construction phase.

Cube Factory 577 is located in Werkstättenstrasse in the Neue Bahnstadt Opladen (nbso) urban development area and combines student housing, owner-occupied apartments, offices and restaurants in around 22,000 m² of rental space. Of this, approx. 10,000 m² is residential and approx. 12,000 m² is office space.
The revitalization project is being built on the site of a former railroad repair hall. Some of the historic buildings will remain – also to preserve the industrial charm. With their modern and individual concept, the office spaces in the Cube Factory offer a wide range of options for the use of space. Sustainability certification in accordance with the LEED Core & Shell 4.0 standard is planned for the project. Cube Factory 577 is very well connected to public transport thanks to the Opladen train station, which is within walking distance.
