Cube Real Estate has acquired an approximately 40,000 square meter site on Georg-von-Boeselager Strasse & Friedrich-Wöhler-Strasse in Bonn from Hydro Aluminium Deutschland GmbH and is planning to develop a district with a predominantly commercial character at this location in the medium term. The site is ideally suited for an urban quarter thanks to its infrastructural connections. Bonn city center is only a ten-minute drive away and the city’s university can be reached in 15 minutes. A special neighborhood concept is planned that focuses on sustainable living and working. This includes, for example, innovative energy supply concepts with the aim of dispensing with fossil fuels.
