Cube Real Estate hands over Cube Ruby 923 apartment project in Frankfurt am Main after 18 months of construction
The new owner is the Nassauische Heimstätte I Wohnstadt group of companies
Frankfurt am Main, 09.03.2021 – Cube Real Estate has handed over the Cube Ruby 923 real estate project in Frankfurt-Niederrad to Nassauische Heimstätte I Wohnstadt (NHW) after 18 months of construction. The group, one of Germany’s leading housing companies, had already acquired the revitalized building with 137 furnished apartments from Cube Real Estate in October 2019 as part of a forward deal. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Together with its project partners, Cube Real Estate has turned an ageing hall of residence into a real eye-catcher in Frankfurt-Niederrad. “We needed creative courage for the red façade of Cube Ruby 923. But it is part of our philosophy to set urban design accents,” says Tilman Gartmeier, founder and Managing Director of the Leverkusen-based project developer, describing the Ruby.
Nassauische Heimstätte will rent out the apartment building at the address Goldsteinstrasse 130 under the name “Cubus130” in future. With around 58,000 rental apartments in 128 cities and municipalities, the new owner is one of Germany’s leading housing companies. NHW also equipped the property with a digital locking system before letting it, so that keyless access via app or transponder card is possible. Holger Lack, Head of the NHW Regional Center Frankfurt: “Our offer is aimed at a broad section of the population. In addition to inclusive living or senior living, which is already part of our portfolio, we also want to appeal to people who are looking for a temporary home with Cubus130. This is in high demand in an economically strong region like the Rhine-Main area.” It is a place of residence with short distances. An S-Bahn connection is just a few minutes’ walk away. From here, there are quick connections to Frankfurt city center and the international airport.
The 137 modern furnished apartments are between 19 and 49 square meters in size. Around half of the residential units are equipped with the “Studentline” furnishing line, whose concept is geared towards student requirements. The “Greenwood” furnishing line, which is primarily aimed at urban professionals who work in Frankfurt and the surrounding area on a daily basis, is characterized by high quality with a clear focus on design and living comfort.
