Real Estate GmbH (Cube) has received planning permission for the mixed-use property &#8220;Nidda.vierzig2&#8221; at Niddagaustra\u00dfe 42 in Frankfurt&#8217;s R\u00f6delheim district. The project developer plans to convert the previously purely commercial property into 102 residential units and two commercial units for the approx. 5,000 m\u00b2 of usable space. Completion is scheduled for 2024.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">The concept developed together with B&amp;V Architekten envisages an innovative mix of apartments with efficiently planned, in some cases compact residential apartments. The plans also include rooftop apartments with views of the Frankfurt skyline and the Taunus as well as two-storey house-in-house concepts with their own entrance as well as attractive front gardens and green spaces.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">The existing building will be extended and its energy efficiency optimized as part of the conversion. In addition to increasing the resulting living space, this will avoid the sealing of new areas.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">With Nidda.vierzig2, we are planning a project that is sustainable in many respects. By converting the building, we are creating sustainable living space in Frankfurt and, in contrast to a new build, we are saving a lot of resources at the same time,&#8221; says Tilman Gartmeier, founder and CEO of Cube Real Estate GmbH. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">The site on which the project is being built is part of the former &#8220;Torpedo-Werke&#8221; &#8211; a production facility for bicycles and typewriters. In recent years, the formerly heavily commercial district has developed into a residential location. The property is well connected to Frankfurt city center in terms of infrastructure.
