has received planning permission for the mixed-use urban quarter on Erkrather Strasse in D\u00fcsseldorf-Flingern. Compact apartments, socially subsidized &amp; price-controlled apartments, artists&#8217; studios as well as offices and commercial space will be built on a plot of around 6,100 m\u00b2. Construction work will begin this year, with completion scheduled for 2025.  <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8220;We are delighted to be working closely with the neighborhood on Erkrather Strasse to create a quarter that interprets the term &#8220;home&#8221; in a special way; after all, we don&#8217;t want to build a standard property, but rather develop a quarter that suits Flingern-S\u00fcd. In addition, a publicly accessible green space, the so-called &#8220;Green Center&#8221;, will offer recreational opportunities. The &#8220;Planwerkstatt 378&#8221; association founded by the neighborhood is planning to create a meeting place for the neighborhood with cultural, artistic and social uses on part of the site. The team of architects involved in the project design is made up of Henning Shin Architekten (formerly HGMB Architekten), HPP Architekten and Atelier Fritschi + Stahl.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8220;The project is unique in terms of the involvement of the neighborhood and the interaction between politics, administration, residents, project developers and investors.
