estate project developer Cube Real Estate, based in Leverkusen, has launched a new subsidiary: 2CP Cube Capital Partners AG (&#8220;2CP&#8221;) will enable institutional investors to invest in the &#8220;small-scale residential&#8221; asset class via its own funds in future. The fund, investment and asset manager focuses primarily on investments in various forms of housing for students, commuters and best agers. In the future, investments in urban districts are also set to increase. The company&#8217;s Management Board consists of Markus Rohmann and Thorsten N\u00e4big.   <\/p>\n<p>In principle, 2CP focuses on purchasing properties developed by Cube Real Estate for the funds yet to be launched. Acquisitions of third-party properties are a further building block for portfolio development thanks to the Group&#8217;s good network and will be made opportunistically, provided these properties meet 2CP&#8217;s quality requirements. The company is currently in the process of establishing a fully digital infrastructure in order to offer modern, efficient and innovative fund management.  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have direct access to Cube Real Estate&#8217;s high-quality project pipeline,&#8221; explains Markus Rohmann. &#8220;The properties that 2CP acquires from Cube Real Estate are assets that are optimized for long-term operation. With 2CP, we are completing our commitment to the &#8216;small-scale residential&#8217; asset class across the entire value chain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Like its parent company, 2CP Cube Capital Partners AG is based in Leverkusen and is managed by a two-member Management Board.<\/p>\n<p>The 44-year-old graduate engineer Markus Rohmann MRICS comes from KAIRONOS Invest AG, where he has been responsible for the acquisition, review and implementation of project developments in joint venture structures and alternative investments in project developments as well as the asset management of existing properties for investors since 2015. Prior to this, he was an investment manager and investor representative at Generali Real Estate S.p.a., where he was responsible for managing 12 real estate funds with a real estate value of around \u20ac4.8 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Thorsten N\u00e4big (47) was previously Head of Controlling at Cube Real Estate and will continue to hold this position. He has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Reihenhaus AG for more than 15 years and was its Chairman for a time.
